Who we are
Bonnie Firs sells and delivers real Christmas trees in Scotland. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@bonniefirs.co.uk with any privacy question or request.
What we collect
Order details (name, email, phone, delivery address and postcode, items ordered, delivery and collection dates), payment confirmation data from Stripe (we never receive your card number), and — only with your consent — analytics and marketing identifiers.
Why we use it
To take payment and fulfil your order (contract), to send order confirmations and delivery updates (contract), to keep accounting records (legal obligation), and to measure and improve our advertising (consent).
Cookies and Meta tracking
Essential cookies keep your basket and checkout working and cannot be switched off. Analytics and marketing cookies, including the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API, only run after you accept them. Where marketing consent is given, we may share hashed contact details with Meta to measure ads; matching browser and server events are de-duplicated so no conversion is counted twice.
Sharing and retention
We share data with our payment processor (Stripe), our email provider (Resend), our hosting and database provider, and — with consent — Meta. Order records are kept for seven years for tax purposes; consent records are kept as proof of compliance.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@bonniefirs.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
